Online Application Guide
Documents Required to Complete Your Application
When submitting your online application, please ensure you upload the following documents:
- Your O-Level certificate.
- Any additional qualifications or certificates you may have.
- If you are a transfer student, your full university transcript / upload a screenshot of your results from your former university portal.
- A copy of your Identity card / NRC or Passport.
Ensure all documents are clear and legible.
How to Pay Your Application Fee
The application fee is USD $20 for international students and ZMW 200 for local (Zambian) students. Please follow these steps:
- Wait for your results to be verified by the Admissions Officer before making any payment.
- Once verified, choose one of the following payment methods:

Please note: All communication should be done with the Admissions Office directly. Do not contact the Finance Department during the application process. Ensure all details are accurate so your application is processed smoothly.

Visas & Immigration Information
All international students are required to obtain a Study Permit to study in Zambia.
Students outside Zambia should apply for a study permit before travelling. Applications can be submitted through the Department of Immigration Headquarters in Lusaka or via a Zambian Mission in your home country.

The estimated cost of a study permit is K9,090, with renewal at K12,120 (subject to change based on government regulations).
Medical examinations required for the study permit, and for certain programmes such as Health Sciences, must be conducted at a public hospital in Zambia.
Students who may face challenges applying from their home country can enter Zambia using a business visa (valid for 30 days) and complete the study permit process while in Zambia.
Important Notes:
•Do NOT enter Zambia on a visitor’s visa for study purposes
•Study permit applications cannot be processed while on a visitor’s visa
